CJ Valle is the creator of The Childhood Code, a philosophy dedicated to helping families, educators, communities, and leaders better understand, protect, and celebrate childhood.
Her mission is to change the way the world understands childhood so every child has the opportunity to flourish.
A life spent learning from childhood
CJ’s work bridges child development, joyful learning, family engagement, community design, and advocacy around one guiding belief: understanding childhood changes everything.
The early years
Learning alongside children
As a teenager, CJ cared for children as a babysitter before becoming a full-time nanny.She spent more than a decade helping raise children from infancy through adolescence, including bringing multiple newborns home from the hospital and walking alongside families through every stage of early childhood.
Formal study
Education meets experience
She later earned a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Elementary Education and Women’s Studies from Florida Atlantic University, combining formal education with thousands of hours of hands-on experience in child development and family life.
2015
Rhythm & Hues takes root
In 2015, CJ founded Rhythm & Hues, which grew to become one of Palm Beach County’s most recognized and beloved children’s brands.Through art, music, movement, creative play, camps, classes, celebrations, and family experiences, she has had the privilege of serving thousands of children and their families.
Today
An ecosystem for childhood
That realization became the foundation of The Childhood Code and inspired the creation of an interconnected ecosystem dedicated to helping childhood flourish.Today, CJ is also the founder of PHD: Parenting Has Directions, The Happy Place In Town, Royal Within, Children’s Rainbow Fund, and RAINBOWpalooza.
